Samsung Unveils Galaxy Z TriFold: The World’s First Trifold Smartphone
Samsung has officially introduced the Galaxy Z TriFold, marking a major leap in foldable innovation as it becomes the world’s first smartphone that unfolds twice to reveal a massive 10-inch display. Launched in Seoul, the device represents over a decade of Samsung's engineering expertise in foldable form factors and mobile AI technology.
A New Era of Multi-Folding Design
The Galaxy Z TriFold features a slim profile, measuring just 3.9 mm at its thinnest point, and is powered by the customized Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform. It includes a 200 MP camera, Samsung’s largest three-cell 5,600 mAh battery, and a durable dual-hinge Armor FlexHinge system designed for stability and minimal screen gaps.
Productivity Supercharged With a 10-Inch Screen
Optimized for work and multitasking, the expansive display supports running up to three portrait apps simultaneously, Samsung DeX with up to four workspaces, and seamless dual-screen workflows with an external monitor. Galaxy AI elevates creativity with features like Generative Edit, Browsing Assist, and enhanced Gemini Live multimodal assistance.
Immersive Entertainment, Pocket-Sized
Despite its large screen, the device folds into a compact phone with a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, up to 2600 nits brightness, and minimized crease visibility—delivering cinematic visuals on the go.
The Galaxy Z TriFold launches Dec. 12, 2025, with global rollout soon after.
