Blast in Delhi Again... This Time Near Radisson Hotel in Mahipalpur!

🚨 Mahipalpur Explosion Scare: Loud Blast Sound Near Radisson Hotel, Turns Out to Be a Bus Tyre Burst

Even as the Red Fort blast investigation in Delhi continues, another explosion-like sound caused panic this morning near Radisson Hotel in Mahipalpur. The loud noise startled nearby residents and passersby, leading to brief chaos in the area.

According to the fire department, they received a call around 9:18 AM, and three fire tenders were immediately dispatched to the spot. However, the Delhi Police later clarified that the sound was caused by the bursting of a DTC bus tyre, not an actual explosion. The guard on duty confirmed that both he and the driver were present at the scene and there was no cause for panic — it was a normal tyre burst incident.

A witness who reported the sound said he heard a loud explosion-like noise while traveling toward Gurugram, prompting him to alert authorities. Upon inspection, officials found no sign of any serious incident. Local inquiries also confirmed that a DTC bus heading toward Dhaula Kuan had suffered a rear tyre burst, resulting in the loud bang. The situation is now completely normal, though police have begun a precautionary check to ensure no damage occurred.

Meanwhile, in the Red Fort explosion case, a major breakthrough has emerged. The unidentified bodies found in the Hyundai i20 car have now been identified following DNA matching at AIIMS Forensic Department. The official report is still being finalized. CCTV footage revealed that the Hyundai i20 involved in the blast had been parked near the Red Fort for nearly three hours before the explosion, with Dr. Umar reportedly inside the vehicle. Investigators believe he may have planned the attack from inside the car.
