Pakistan-Afghanistan Border on Fire Again!
Tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan have erupted once more as fierce overnight clashes broke out along the border. Reports suggest Pakistan suffered heavy losses after intense crossfire early this morning.According to sources, in a short but fierce battle, the Pakistani army appeared overwhelmed and was forced to surrender before Afghan forces, with several weapons reportedly seized. This marks the second major confrontation in just two days between the two nations.
Pakistan claims that Taliban and Tehrik-e-Taliban (TTP) fighters launched unprovoked attacks throughout the night, prompting a counterstrike targeting Afghanistan’s Khost province. Islamabad asserts that six Afghan tanks were destroyed and several Taliban fighters were killed.
Meanwhile, Afghan officials reported that clashes erupted around Spin Boldak district, involving both light and heavy weapons. Local residents in Kandahar alleged that Pakistan targeted civilian homes using heavy artillery.
Social media is flooded with unverified videos and images from the border zone, showing destruction and chaos — though their authenticity remains unclear.
Earlier, Afghanistan had claimed to have killed 58 Pakistani soldiers in retaliatory strikes, while Pakistan denied the figure, admitting to 23 casualties instead. In response, Pakistan carried out airstrikes on Kabul and eastern Afghan markets, further escalating the volatile situation.
