🧮 Selection Process: Four Key Stages

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT)

   • 100 objective-type questions, each worth 1 mark.

   • Negative marking: 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.

   • Sections include:

     • General Knowledge – 50 Questions

     • Reasoning – 25 Questions

     • Numerical Ability – 15 Questions

     • Computer Knowledge – 10 Questions

   • Final merit list will be prepared based on CBT scores only.

2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

   • For Males:

     • 1600m run in 6 minutes

     • Long Jump – 14 feet

     • High Jump – 3.9 feet

   • For Females:

     • 1600m run in 8 minutes

     • Long Jump – 10 feet

     • High Jump – 3 feet

3. Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

   • Males: Height – 170 cm; Chest – 81 cm (unexpanded) / 85 cm (expanded)

   • Females: Height – 157 cm

4. Medical Test

   • Assessment of overall physical and mental fitness.

   • PET and PMT are qualifying only, but CBT marks decide selection.

• NCC ‘C’ Certificate: +5% marks in CBT
