After weeks of teasers and leaks, OnePlus has officially launched its next-generation flagship — the OnePlus 15 — in China. While the company has not yet confirmed an exact date for international release, it says the global launch is “coming soon.”
Powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and 165Hz Display
The OnePlus 15 is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, making it one of the most powerful Android phones on the market.
It also features a 165Hz refresh rate display, up from 120Hz on last year’s OnePlus 13 — though few games currently support those frame rates.
This upgrade underlines OnePlus’s continued focus on performance and gaming capabilities, a segment where it has built a strong following.
Massive 7,300mAh Battery and Super-Fast Charging
The phone packs a 7,300mAh battery, aligning with a growing trend among Chinese flagships to push beyond the 7,000mAh mark.
However, it remains uncertain whether the global variants will retain this same large battery capacity.
Charging won’t be an issue — the OnePlus 15 supports 120W wired charging, capable of topping up the phone in just minutes.

In China, the OnePlus 15 starts at ¥3,999 (around $560) — an aggressive price point for a flagship of this caliber.
It was launched alongside the OnePlus Ace 6, a more affordable model that could appear globally as the OnePlus 15R. The Ace 6 includes a larger 7,800mAh battery but a simpler dual-camera setup, targeting budget-conscious buyers.
